Haroo Hooray we're here today! Cabbages and Kings!

As of now I've whooped the whole "starting a-new" in the butt! I can officially say that, at this moment right now, the following are facts; Proof of how with the right motivation and faith in yourself, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to: 1. I got a job- Technically two jobs. Every interview i've had in Washington I've gotten the job(granted Sephora didn't work out);BUT I still got the jobs. I love Kohl's so far, everyone who works there are so wonderful and they all get along well with on another. I especially have grown to love this wonderful gal, whom has been my trainee and she rocks. She's shown me the ropes around MJM (Mens, Juniors, Misses) Housewares, and children's clothing. I am being trained in MJM first before beauty so if they need back up for other departments and i'm not busy in beauty I can take over. My manager and supervisors are wonderful and make me laugh so hard and between you and me, the pay is not bad either. 2. I have an Apprenticeship- That's right folks, if you haven't heard already, I have gotten the privilege to work in an apprenticeship with one of the best pet groomers in Spokane/Cord'alene area. Her name Is Cleo she's so funny and sweet. I'll be working at both locations at first, Cord'alene Pet Resort & Paradise Pet Resort in Spokane Valley. I am so excited. Right after I got my job at Kohl's I posted an add on Craig's List stating that I was interested in becoming a groomer and would be willing to even do an internship if I had to. A couple days later the Resort owner Dawn messaged me giving me her number and I called her and set up an appointment to meet with her. I met her and her husband, Dave. They opened their business in Cord'alene about 5 years ago and just opened their Spokane location about a year ago. They are both so funny and nice and made me feel so comfortable right away. 3.$$$- Matthius and I are both paying off bills and other things we need to take care of. Of corse we've had moments where we're short on gas and have had to scrounge around for money BUT we always make it through. Now that I have a job things should go A LOT smoother. He and I have had change a ton of things about ourselves but hey, that's how things go sometimes. We've come to realize that sometimes saying, "No thanks." Or "We can't afford it right now." has better than having reason to panic later on. In short- I'm FLABBERGASTED in how much has changed in the last month...

This gal got a job! I work at Kohl's as a beauty consultant I am so wonderfully excited. Also, I posted an add on Craig's List saying I was interested in a Pet Grooming Apprenticeship and got an email back from a woman who is looking for someone to train at her new shop in Spokane Valley. I called her and have an appointment with her Tuesday to see if I can get one. It'll be quite interesting to see how i'll work my schedules out if I get the apprenticeship. I'll let you all know; For the time being heres a couple pictures of what i've been up to.

For those of you who don't know, my fiance is a HUGE gamer nerd (one of my favorite things about him.) He's one of those guys who knows when its time to come back to reality though, in fact, before I moved up here he traded in his Xbox for his Ipod touch. He was so bored and I felt bad so I brought my Nintendo 64 with me and some game we had around the house he has already almost beat Ocarina of Time (Legend of Zelda) and wanted to play Majora's Mask but we don't have that one. SO, we went to a place downtown called Trade-a-game and traded in for his two favorite games, Majora's Mask & Golden Eye (A James bond game) He's in heaven! I am going to save up some money for Yoshi Story. I am so excited :)
Anyways video blog coming soon! As of our weight loss...we broke. Matt and I decided to celebrate me getting my job by buying all this junk food and pigging out...I guess it's back to square one. I am going to have to do more exercising more too, I know my way around town so I can start running. Matty and I have been going on walks as well.

Allas, Yet Another Update

I've looked back on my posts in the last couple of weeks and realized that I've only wrote about 3 sentences in them. The rest of the post being pictures; I do feel pictures speak a thousand words. Another reason being, I've been quite busy and when I'm not busy I'm exhausted!! I have been applying everywhere for jobs. In case you haven't heard, I did get a job at Sephora as a beauty consultant but the day before I was supposed to go in for training the manager called and told me corporate had cut their funding, leaving her to slice her staff in half which meant no room for new hires. I was very distressed, poor Matty had to hold me while I cried for a while; Yet I kept my hopes high and started right back into the job hunting game. The next call back I got was from Kohl's. I went in for an interview, It went awesome (at least from my end) and I am currently waiting on an answer as to weather I have a job or not. Matthius has been a saint!! This last month has been a roller coaster of emotions for me...Just with stress from moving, getting homesick, trying to make ends meet with an extremely tight budget, some personal issues regarding some of Matty's financial issues, and much, much more. He's been so supportive of me in finding a job and Tammy (Matty's aunt and whom we are renting our room from) has told us not to worry about paying our entire portion of rent until I find a job, she's even settled for less than half of what we're supposed to pay. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful people to support me while I'm starting off my new chapter in life. As for finding my way around, C.A.K.E. I have my parents sense of direction and can find my way around easy. It did take me a while to get used to all the one-way streets around here but now that I know them it's easy as pie. There are also a few roads that take you from Down Town Spokane all the way to Spokane Valley which I've learned as well. I love it here, so far people are hilarious. Tammy and I went to every thrift store from here to almost Idaho the other day and the most funny people talked to us. I do miss my family very, VERY much!! It's lonely...Especially when Matty's at work because I still haven't made that many friends up here but considering I've only been here a month, I figure it'll work itself out. Plus getting a job will make meeting people a lot easier. I especially miss my sisters and their little ones! I read all your blogs daily!! Love you all (especially you Mom & Dad)

Spokane Falls

We took a stroll down to Spokane Falls this evening. It's just about a 10 minute walk from where we live. It was so awesome! We spent time listening to the roaring rapids and taking pictures of the Spokane bridge.
